The Sentinels are a group of soldiers who are partially immune to the Chimeran virus because of an injection of a serum containing of the said virus into their bloodstream; this injection is a direct result of the work on Project Abraham. Because of this injection, they have been gifted with the superhuman abilities that most Chimera display, such as heightened senses, abnormal strength, and the ability to heal themselves. They are the elite soldiers who are specifically tasked in the most dangerous missions, as each Sentinel probably having claimed hundreds of Chimeran lives, and said to be a least worth 3 Rangers each. Sentinels operate in small squads of 4, and includes with 1 leader per squad. During their missions, Sentinels are usually supported by many teams of Black Ops soldiers. The main character of the first two Resistance games, Nathan Hale, is a member of the Sentinels during the events of Resistance 2, after being inducted into the program sometime after the events of SRPA Station Igloo. It is unknown of how many Sentinels have survived throughout the course of the events, with the exception of Capelli and Lasalle.
