A new novel called Resistance: A Hole in the Sky has been confirmed and is going to be written by William C. Dietz who was the author of the first novel Resistance: The Gathering Storm (This was actually confirmed last month). It will most probably be set in 1952 which is a huge gap in the Resistance series.

A billboard is spotted in Shreveport, Louisiana bearing the words Resistance 3, In side of the "I" is the Empire State building and the space in the "A" has the Statue of Liberty. When asked to comment by IGN.Com Insomniac said "We've made no announcements at this time."
