South America is the southern continent of the Americas, situated in the Western Hemisphere and mostly in the Southern Hemisphere, with a relatively small portion in the Northern Hemisphere. It is bordered on the west by the Pacific Ocean and on the north and east by the Atlantic Ocean; North America and the Caribbean Sea lie to the northwest.
History
South America's role during the early phase of the Chimeran War remained aloof from the conflict until on July 30th, 1952, four Chimeran airships blanketed Colombia with waves of spire attacks. Within three days, the entire continent fell under gray territory as the Chimera began to excavate Chimeran Towers throughout South America. Prospect of any higher number of survivors that came from South America were all for naught as the United States Navy attempted to search for survivors along the coastlines.[1]
