Ring of Life is a Resistance 2 co-op and multiplayer berserk. In co-op it is only available for the Medic class, while in multiplayer it is available for everyone. The Ring of Life berserk creates an aura around the player that will regenerate health much faster. Therefore this will give the player more health during a firefight. This berserk also affects teammates so is particularly useful while travelling and fighting in a group. In multiplayer it is unlocked at level 4, while it is default for the medic in co-op. In Competitive Mode it will instantly restore the player's health. It will not protect him/her, however, from instant kill shots, such as LAARK rocket or a direct hit from a Hedgehog Grenade.
