Poland is a country in Eastern Europe. It is bordered by Germany to the west; Czechoslovakia to the south; Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Lithuania to the east; and the Baltic Sea to the north.

History[]

"The Lord has fallen, blackness is our home... we will all die, we will all die. "
―Unknown Polish woman from Pruskow[src]

In December, 1949 Poland was invaded by the Chimera and was quickly overrun with severe casualties. Warsaw, which boasted a pre-war population of two million, fell to only one thousand survivors. By January, the Chimera had conquered the entire country, and were moving on toward Central Europe. It should also be noted that the Cloven followed in the Chimera's footsteps and began taking Polish survivors and presumably began torturing, converting and/or eating them.[1]

According to a Specter mission report, Poland was one of the major fronts in the war following the July 14th victory in London and Operation Overstrike, along with Northern France and Southern Spain.[2] In 1953 European forces liberated Poland during the Battle of Warsaw by destroying the central hub tower in Warsaw.
