Janzen was a member of the British Army. He was a sniper. Janzen participated in Operation Overstrike and was in the same P-1117 Kingfisher as Major Stephen Cartwright, which had to make a crash-landing into Rotterdam. Janzen went into a building to give Cartwright some cover while he tried to get a cargo out of the Kingfisher. Unfortunately, Janzen was killed in the process, and James Grayson had to assist Cartwright instead.
