Hastings is a squad leader who fought in Operation Shear.
During Operation Shear, Hastings and his men fought the Titan and Hybrids near the first pylon of the Chimeran Nexus. After the Titan was killed, Hastings and his men helped the soldiers fighting on the bridge by shooting through the fence.
