Airships being constructed by the Chimera in Gerolstein
Gerolstein is a town in the Vulkaneifel district in Rhineland-Palatinate of western Germany. Gerolstein was devastated and occupied by the Chimera in Europe on 1950.
History[]
Following their defeat in Britain, the Chimera turned Gerolstein into a massive construction zone where they built a series of airships.[1] During Operation Overstrike on September 2, 1951, James Grayson arrived in Gerolstein where he aided Stephen Cartwright in destroying Chimeran Earth Movers from reaching the Maquis' base in Luxembourg. After the final battle of Operation Overstrike on September 6, the Chimera abandoned Gerolstein and moved their construction operations elsewhere.
