Franklin D. Roosevelt

Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the United States. He was elected in 1932 and re-elected in 1936.

During his time in office, Roosevelt and his Works Progress Administration were responsible for the development of the well known UH-17 Atlas. Roosevelt was aware of the Chimera and committed his administration in funding the nation's military in massive amount of expenditure, including the creation of the Special Research Projects Administration, and forging a strong relationship with the United European Defence to stand against the alien threat.

Roosevelt's expenditure garnered many negative reactions from isolationists, who were totally unaware of the Chimeran threat as the government remained entirely secretive of this fact to prevent mass hysteria. Roosevelt was ultimately defeated in the 1940 Presidential Elections by Montanan Senator Noah Grace, who gained popular support after accusing Roosevelt for his military spending and called him a imperialist and a warmonger.
