Resistance 3 Teaser

Resistance 3 Teaser is a live action trailer for Resistance 3. It premiered at Sony's Gamescom 2010 press conference in Cologne, Germany on August 17, 2010. The background music is a cover of Bob Dylan's "Masters of War" performed by the Staple Singers.

Synopsis

The trailer shows Joseph Capelli (who is identified for the scars on his left side of the face, and the Chimeran teeth he has strung around his neck) boarding a train that is also boarded with several survivors. The train passes through an American countryside ravaged and desolated by the Chimeran War and inhabited by Feral Chimera such as Grims and Widowmakers. The train eventually comes into a war-torn city before suddenly stopping inside a tunnel teeming with Grims and Hybrids. Capelli and the survivors fight for their lives until only Capelli is left standing.

Trivia

• The Resistance 3 reveal trailer was completed and rushed by taxi to Gamescom 5 minutes before it was scheduled to debut.
• There are three separate hidden messages throughout the teaser that are written on the billboards, which reveals: "Get away from New York."
• The railway line that the survivors were travelling on is the Union Pacific Line from Chicago to West Coast.
