Biography[]

In mid-August 1920, Kulik led an expedition to the site of the Tunguska Event. Twenty days later, they went missing after communications with Kulik's colleagues at the Academy of Sciences ceased.[1] The Russian authorities led an intensive search for the expedition by retracing their path, but were unable to find them in which it was exacerbated by the harsh Siberian winter. The search was eventually called off on November 9 and Kulik and his men were presumed dead.[1]

However, the final search party recovered a camera and a torn page from a journal belonging to Kulik near the village of Vanavara, hidden in a tree.[1] According to Kulik's entry, he and his men had interviewed the local Evenki people about the event and reached the site of the impact, where Kulik feared that "a vengeful entity" had came to their world. He and his men then planned to return to St. Petersburg as soon as possible.[1] It is presume that Kulik and his expedition fell victim to the Chimera.
