Douglas MacArthur

General Douglas MacArthur is United States' highest ranked member of the Army and is also the current leader of the United States, succeeding former Presidents Noah Grace and Harvey McCullen, both killed during the Chimeran invasion. He became the leader and acting President in June, 1953 when McCullen and most members of his cabinet were shot down by Chimeran fighter planes shortly after the fall of the Liberty Defense Perimeter. He is acting as temporary leader of the U.S. Government until a time when more formal elections can be held.
