Brute Minigun

The Brute Minigun first appears in Resistance 2.

The minigun is usually seen being held by Chimeran Ravagers, and fires like a Hellfire turret. It is also available as a downloadable skin for the HVAP Wraith, if you have purchased the collector's edition. This weapon is notably very large, approximately around 4 feet. It has several barrels that fire bursts of plasma at a very high rate, giving a beam-like blast which can rip through a human in a couple of seconds.

The minigun can not be picked up, probably because of its size. The Brute minigun also has some sort of targeting screen constantly scanning next to the grip, and its ammunition seems to be the large spherical core pod on the bottom.
