Asia is Earth's largest continent, located primarily in the eastern and northern hemispheres and sharing the continental landmass of Eurasia with the continent of Europe. Asia covers an area of 44,579,000 square kilometres (17,212,000 sq mi), about 30% of Earth's total land area and 8.7% of the Earth's total surface area.
In December, 1949 the Chimera emerged from Russia and rapidly overtook Asia and converted millions of the human population into Chimera. Asia was overrun by the Chimera and millions of refugees were trying to escape the continent to Australia. The Chimera also constructed a Terravormer in Nagoya, Japan. Although the Chimera took over Asia they had to deal with a lot of resistance in China because the chinese were able to hold off the Chimera for a long time, making it possible for many people to evacuate.
- Crawlers were used to infect most of Asia.
