The Sargeant that was with him went with Cartwright and he was ordered by Cartwright to lead Grayson through the sewers. It is here that Grayson learns about the Boilers, once they got out of the sewers they found they couldn't reach the exit. He saw the flood control valve and went over to release the water, he was killed by leapers. Grayson mourned his death for a moment and quickly moved on to kill the swarm of leapers.
